Professional Biography

Dr. Yang Yue is Chief Physician in Thoracic Surgery at Peking University Cancer Hospital, Beijing. Yang serves as Director, Thoracic Oncology Center and Thoracic Surgery Ward II. Clinical expertise includes Lung cancer, Esophageal cancer, Mediastinal tumor. Minimally invasive thoracic surgery pioneer: began performing axillary small-incision (腋下小切口) lung, esophageal, and mediastinal operations in 1997 — one of China's earliest VATS adopters, predating widespread adoption nationally. Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, Tumor Cell Molecular Biology Laboratory, Department of Pathology, University of Rochester, USA (April 2000 – August 2004). Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, 2nd Prize (2016) — for standardized comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of resectable lung cancer.
