Dr. Wang Zhongmin is Chief Physician in Interventional Radiology at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai. Wang serves as Vice Director, Department of Interventional Radiology. Clinical expertise includes Interventional oncology (liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, biliary tumors), Radioactive seed (¹²⁵I) implantation — 3D printing-guided, Tumor ablation (RFA, microwave, cryotherapy) and TACE, Airway stenting (custom 3D-printed, drug-eluting esophageal stents). First in China to introduce 3D printing-guided ¹²⁵I radioactive seed implantation for unresectable pancreatic cancer; co-led drafting of the national expert consensus and Shanghai local standard for radioactive particle implantation in solid tumors. 'Shanghai Craftsman' (上海工匠) 2023; National Health Commission 'Outstanding Contribution Mid-Career Expert' 2021; National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class).
