Dr. Su Xiangqian is Chief Physician & Professor, Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgery at Peking University Cancer Hospital, Beijing. Clinical expertise includes Gastric cancer (laparoscopic and open), Colorectal cancer, Locally advanced gastric cancer with neoadjuvant therapy, Gastrointestinal tumors. Led CLASS-01 trial (JAMA 2019) — landmark RCT establishing laparoscopic gastrectomy as oncologically non-inferior to open surgery for locally advanced gastric cancer. Led CLASS-01 (JAMA) — establishing laparoscopic gastrectomy as the new standard for advanced gastric cancer in Asia.
