Dr. Zhou Zhuchao is Associate Chief Physician in General Surgery (Breast & Thyroid) at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, Shanghai. Clinical expertise includes Breast cancer — breast-conserving surgery, modified radical mastectomy, axillary dissection, Thyroid cancer — total thyroidectomy, lobectomy, cervical lymph node dissection, Thyroid nodule evaluation and surgical management, Thyroid goiter and benign thyroid disease. Co-corresponding author on study demonstrating that miR-432 acts as a prognostic biomarker and inhibitor of cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in breast cancer — published in Clinical Breast Cancer 2021 (PMID 33637448); establishing miR-432 as a molecular prognostic indicator in the Huashan Hospital patient cohort. 25+ years of uninterrupted breast and thyroid surgical practice at Huashan Hospital (since 1998) — deep institutional expertise in one of China's leading general surgery departments.
