Dr. Zhang Ping is Chief Physician in Cardiology (Cardiovascular Medicine) at Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital, Beijing. Zhang serves as Vice President and Director of the Cardiovascular Center. Clinical expertise includes Cardiac arrhythmias — atrial fibrillation, PVCs, ventricular tachycardia, Syncope and sudden-cardiac-death prevention, Cardiomyopathy and heart failure (device therapy), Inherited cardiovascular disease, including short QT syndrome. Pioneered a screening and management system for syncope and sudden-cardiac-death risk in China. China Pacing Outstanding Contribution Award (2013); State Council Special Government Allowance.
