Dr. Zhang Changqing is Chief Physician, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor in Orthopedics (Trauma & Reconstructive Surgery) at Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital, Shanghai. Zhang serves as Director, National Orthopedic Medical Center at Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital. Clinical expertise includes Avascular (ischemic) necrosis of the femoral head, Complex fractures, Fracture nonunion, Chronic osteomyelitis. Established a system of hip-preserving surgery centered on free vascularized fibular grafting to reconstruct the femoral head's blood supply — reporting roughly 86% hip preservation in early-to-mid-stage necrosis. First Prize, Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, for hip-preserving surgical technology (2016).
