Dr. Yu Chengze is Director, Breast Tumor Center in Breast Surgery at Beijing United Family Hospital, Beijing. Yu serves as Director, Breast Tumor Center, United Family Healthcare Beijing (2025–present). Clinical expertise includes Breast cancer (modified radical mastectomy, breast-conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy), Oncoplastic breast surgery and reconstruction, Benign and malignant tumors of the breast and thyroid, Radical thyroidectomy. Holds national invention patent (serial 2074092200920530) for LAMP (Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification)-based molecular detection of breast cancer sentinel lymph nodes — enabling rapid intraoperative molecular SLN assessment without frozen section delays, now institutional standard. 30-year military surgical career at PLA 307 Hospital (1983–2013), rising from resident to department director; mentored 36 graduate students; 100+ publications including 14 SCI-indexed articles.
