Professional Biography

Dr. Yang Weiqing is Chief Physician in Urology at Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Guangzhou. Clinical expertise includes Urolithiasis — complex upper urinary tract stones: flexible ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), mini-PCNL, BPH and prostate disease: laser enucleation/resection, Urolift procedure, Urological oncology: laparoscopic radical surgery for kidney, bladder, prostate, and adrenal tumors, Da Vinci robotic-assisted urological surgery. Trained under Prof. Li Xun (李逊) — State Council Special Allowance expert and architect of GMU's nationally recognized minimally invasive urology program — acquiring the full spectrum of endoscopic urological techniques before transitioning to international-standard care at UFH. Visiting Scholar, Laparoscopic and Robotic Urology, Lippstadt Hospital / Hannover Medical School (汉诺威医学院), Germany (2019) — da Vinci robotic surgery training. German laparoscopic/robotic fellowship (Hannover Medical School, 2019) combined with mentorship from Prof. Li Xun — training spanning both traditional endoscopic and robotics-assisted urological surgery.
