Dr. Yang Shiwei is Chief Physician in Cardiology at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Beijing. Clinical expertise includes Atherosclerosis, Coronary artery disease, Cardiovascular disease prevention. Principal investigator on 10+ grants including multiple NSFC projects investigating metabolic mechanisms underlying cardiovascular disease — one of China's leading researchers in atherosclerosis and metabolic-cardiovascular risk. Visiting Scholar, Mayo Clinic, USA (2015–2016).
