Professional Biography

Dr. Xu Lanping is Chief Physician in Hematology at Peking University People's Hospital, Beijing. Xu serves as Vice Director. Clinical expertise includes Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) — haploidentical, matched-sibling, and mismatched-unrelated donor, Severe aplastic anemia (SAA) — haploidentical HSCT and immunosuppressive therapy, Leukemia (AML, ALL, CML) — transplant and non-transplant management, Lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Core member of the 'Beijing Protocol' for haploidentical (HLA-mismatched) HSCT — one of three globally recognized haploidentical transplant protocols; Peking University People's Hospital has performed more haploidentical HSCTs than any other single centre worldwide. National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class) — twice (2014 and 2017) — as a core member of Huang Xiaojun's haploidentical HSCT research group, one of China's most decorated transplant teams.
