Dr. Wei Minxin is Chief Physician in Cardiac Surgery at University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital, Shenzhen. Wei serves as Director, Cardiovascular Medicine Center, University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital (2020–present). Clinical expertise includes Minimally invasive and total-arterial coronary artery bypass, Minimally invasive heart valve replacement and the Bentall procedure, Endovascular stent-graft repair of complex type B aortic dissection, Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). After Cleveland Clinic training (2009), introduced aortic root aneurysm surgery and aortic dissection endovascular treatment to Tianjin — expanding the city's cardiac surgical capacity to a new level of complexity. Over 7,000 cardiac surgeries across a 30+ year career; 320+ procedures in first year at HKU-Shenzhen alone — 90%+ classified as Level 4 highest complexity.
