Dr. Wang Zheng is Chief Physician in Radiation Oncology at Shanghai Proton & Heavy Ion Center, Shanghai. Wang serves as Deputy Director, Abdominal and Pelvic Tumor Department II. Clinical expertise includes Pancreatic cancer (proton and carbon ion radiotherapy), Liver cancer and gallbladder/bile-duct cancer, Recurrent rectal cancer, Soft-tissue sarcomas (limb and retroperitoneal) — proton/heavy ion. Treated 117 pancreatic cancer patients with proton/heavy ion therapy — among unresectable cases achieved 92% local control and 81% one-year survival, among the best reported outcomes for this indication in China. Multiple first/corresponding-author papers in Cancer Letters; co-authored proton/heavy ion Target Volume Delineation textbooks.
