Professional Biography

Dr. Wang Lu is Chief Physician in Hepatobiliary Surgery at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center, Shanghai. Wang serves as Director, Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery. Clinical expertise includes Primary liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma, HCC), Bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma), Liver metastases (colorectal, pancreatic, other), Laparoscopic and robotic hepatectomy. Led FUSCC's hepatic surgery department to 800+ liver surgeries annually and 1,000+ laparoscopic hepatectomies — one of China's highest-volume HCC surgical programs. Senior Visiting Scholar, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University in St. Louis, USA (2008–2009). World Digestive Surgery Congress Grassi Award (2002) — international prize at the 18th World Congress of the International Society of Digestive Surgery, Hong Kong.
