Dr. Mei Weiyi is Cardiologist in Cardiology at Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Guangzhou. Mei serves as Director of Cardiovascular Medicine. Clinical expertise includes Coronary heart disease, Acute myocardial infarction (STEMI), Complex and high-risk coronary intervention (PCI), Chronic total occlusion. Founded the catheterization laboratory at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (East) in 2013, and was first in eastern Guangzhou to introduce intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), rotational atherectomy, and fractional flow reserve (FFR). More than 20 years in cardiovascular medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University before joining Guangzhou United Family Hospital.
