Luo serves as Director, Department of Colorectal Surgery (and President's Assistant), Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. Clinical expertise includes Colorectal cancer (standardized minimally invasive surgery), Rectal cancer (low rectal cancer, sphincter-preserving surgery), Lateral pelvic lymph node dissection, Gastrointestinal tumors. Performs more than 300 radical colorectal cancer operations annually and has treated more than 3,000 colorectal cancer cases, with emphasis on minimally invasive sphincter-preserving surgery for low rectal cancer and lateral pelvic lymph node dissection.
