Professional Biography

Dr. Lu Shun is Director, Shanghai Lung Cancer Center in Medical Oncology at Shanghai Chest Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai. Lu serves as Director, Department of Oncology & Shanghai Lung Cancer Center. Clinical expertise includes Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), EGFR, MET, KRAS, ALK, ROS1, NTRK, RET, HER2-driven lung cancer, Immunotherapy for lung cancer, Targeted therapy. Led the LAURA trial published in NEJM — establishing osimertinib as the standard of care after chemoradiotherapy for Stage III EGFR-mutated NSCLC, transforming treatment globally. Fellowship in Clinical Oncology, Tel Aviv University, Israel (1996–1997). Led the LAURA trial (NEJM) — establishing osimertinib as standard of care for Stage III EGFR-mutated NSCLC.
