Dr. Jia Jidong is Chief Physician, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor in Liver Diseases Center (Hepatology) at Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University, Beijing. Jia serves as Director, Liver Disease Center. Clinical expertise includes Chronic hepatitis (viral and non-viral), Autoimmune liver disease, Cholestatic liver disease, Alcoholic and drug-induced liver disease. One of China's most internationally prominent hepatologists — served as president of both APASL and the IASL, a distinction rare for a Chinese physician. National Science & Technology Progress Award, 2nd Class (2010 and 2011).
