Dr. Hu Jiyi is Associate Chief Physician in Radiation Oncology at Shanghai Proton & Heavy Ion Center, Shanghai. Clinical expertise includes Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (locoregionally recurrent) — carbon-ion salvage radiotherapy, Adenoid cystic carcinoma of head and neck, Nervous system tumors (brain and spinal cord), Proton and carbon-ion radiotherapy for head and neck cancers. One of China's leading specialists in carbon-ion radiotherapy (CIRT) for recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma — a rare expertise at the world's first JCI-accredited proton/heavy-ion facility. First-author publication in Cancer (2020) — largest series of carbon-ion radiotherapy for recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma, establishing SPHIC's clinical outcomes internationally.
