Professional Biography
Dr. He Baisong is Professor (Emeritus), Reproductive Medicine at University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital, Shenzhen. He serves as Former Chair Professor & Vice Dean (Clinical Affairs), HKU Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine. Clinical expertise includes Assisted reproduction (IVF and ICSI), Ovulation induction and controlled ovarian stimulation, Premature ovarian insufficiency, Emergency contraception and fertility counseling. Founded the first assisted reproduction program at HKU / Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong (1986) — personally established the ART center that became one of Asia's pioneering IVF programs. Honorary Fellow, HKCOG (2009) — Hong Kong's highest professional honor in obstetrics and gynecology; also holds HonFRANZCOG and FRCOG.
