Dr. Cheng Chao is Chief Physician in Thoracic Surgery at The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou. Cheng serves as Associate Director, Thoracic Surgery. Clinical expertise includes Lung cancer (multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment), Esophageal cancer, Minimally invasive thoracoscopic lung resection, Lung nodule diagnosis and management. Performs ~500 thoracoscopic lung resection and esophageal cancer surgeries annually — one of South China's highest-volume thoracic surgeons.
