Dr. Chen Ge is Chief Physician in Neurosurgery at Xuanwu Hospital, Beijing. Clinical expertise includes Pituitary tumor, Brain tumor, Skull base tumor, Neuroendoscopic surgery. Pioneer of neuroendoscopic surgery in China — trained under Prof. Axel Perneczky (University Medical Center Mainz, Germany, 2001–2002), the founder of modern neuroendoscopy, and returned to systematically introduce endoscopic neurosurgical techniques at Xuanwu Hospital. Visiting Fellowship, Mainz University, Germany (trained under Prof. Axel Perneczky) (Oct 2001–Apr 2002). International fellowship under Prof. Axel Perneczky at Mainz University — founder of neuroendoscopy.
